Description
Is man capable of singing Hashem's praises? The Halacha recognizes two polar extremes, one reflected in Barchu & Birchat Kriat Shema - man is mandated to praise Hashem and can glorify Him on the highest level that surpasses even the Kedusha of the angels. On the opposite end of the spectrum, man is enjoined from praising Hashem & all man can do is engage in Tefilla, and the Tzibbur prays that Hashem bring about the day of the revelation of His Glory. The latter approach is reflected in Kadish. In the latter half of this shiur we will analyze the Rambam & establish that there is a Hechal & a Teyva, both house the Torah, but each represents a different Kiyum. The Heichal generates the Kedushat Beit HaKnesset. The Teyva represents the Torah.
