Description
We will analyze the Rambam who requires intention in the melacha of Libun and who excludes leather from the melacha of libun. The Minchat chinuch sees a contradiction to the Rambam from the sugya in Zevachim of Kibus (washing) soft leather that has absorbed Dam Chatat. We will address the issue of pouring water on filth for a purpose other than cleaning the filth. Would this depend upon the law of Psik Reisha? Finally what is the relationship between Schita (squeezing out liquids) & Libun? Could the tolda (i.e. schita) be more strict than the Av (libun)? This could be relevant to squeezing one's hair and to squeezing a cloth of the liquid it has absorbed.
