Description

We will continue our study of the nature and scope of the obligation to separate another from a violation of an Issur. May a person physically assault another in order to prevent him from an aveira? Why isn't this the exclusive responsibility of Beit Din? Is it permissible to use force within the context of education? Is there a special responsibility incumbent upon the master to be 'mafrish' his slave from a violation? To protect a victim from being assaulted? To prevent one's wife from violating the Torah? We will carefully analyze the presentations of the Trumos HaDeshen, Yam shel Shlomo, & Noda Beyahuda. In the latter Teshuva, we will study the sensitive case of notifying the husband that due to his wife's violations he must divorce her
