Description

Before Kinah 21 - Arzei Halvanon. The murder and death (silukim shel) of tzaddikim (righteous) is very much connected to the churban (destruction of the) Beis HaMikdash. Our enemies understand that the tzaddikim, just like the Beis HaMikdash, are the source of our spiritual well-being and must be eliminated. The difference between Moshe Rabeinu's and all other prophets' prophecy - the details and instructions vs. the inner essence and experiencing. The same is true for "learning" about the Beis HaMikdash, and being in and experiencing the Beis HaMikdash. "Zeh hadavar" - that is IT [the real thing]. Living an inside or an outside life. Nigleh (revealed) Torah deals with the actual day to day life - gufey (body of) Torah; nistar (hidden) deals with nishmas (soul of) d'Oraysa; that part that speaks to the neshamah (soul). If a Jew is immersed in the soul of Torah, he understands what it means to be in a shul, how we are supposed to behave. The tzaddik is greater than any shul and any piece of Torah we can learn; because he lives every minute of his life immersed in the "courtyard" of Hashem; his soul and body are not in conflict with each other.
