In this shiur for the Aggadeta of Masechet Berachot, we will study the power of Kriat Shema al Hamita in the battle against the forces of evil. We will study the insights of HaRav Kook, as well as those of the Ein Yaakov. We will learn that there are two types of evil, internal & external and how we battle against them. Should one 'kill' his Yetzer HaRah or use it for the good? How does one battle the Yetzer when asleep and his intellectual faculties are neutralized? We will study the parts of Torah that were given to Moshe at Har Sinai and how we should imitate the exact sequence when we organize our schedule of Torah study. Why is Chumash called 'Mikra'?
