Description

We will study the mitzva of Sippur Yetzias Mitzrayim & its relationship to the principle of שומע כעונה. Can one read the Haggada on behalf of those listening? We will analyze the insights of two contemporary Teshuvos, one of the Minchas Asher, the othe 'Ratz KeTzvi'. We will dissect this issue within the context of the dispute between the Beis HaLevi & the Chazon Ish re: Birchas Kohanim, can one Kohen recite the Beracha on behalf of the other Kohanim? Does Sippur require 'Kol Ram' just as Kohanim & acc to the Beis HaLevy each would be required to read the Hagadda on his own? Perhaps there is no need for שומע כעונה re Sippur. We will end the shiur with a presentation of the dispute re counting the Omer can one count for another?
