This is the final segment of the shiur we began earlier (the recorder shut off prematurely) regarding Hillel. In his youth Hillel soaked up the Torah of the giants of the generation, Shmaya & Avtalyon. In Hillel's middle stage of Torah study Hillel studied on his own to dissect and delve into the Torah of his Rebbeim and integrate their Torah into his being. In the third stage Hillel was ripe to become the נשיא, the teacher of Israel. We will study the insight of the אמת ליעקב as to why Hillel - the great paradigm of humility - harshly criticizes the people as he is elected to serve as the Prince of Israel.
