We will begin the shiur with a study of the insights of the Shev Shma'teta & the Sha'arei Yosher in their rejection of the Yesod of the זכרון יוספ that all doubts re: Niddah are determined by the rules that govern doubts in Tumah. For Masechet Niddah 33a & 37a we will analyze the equation between קרי in זב and פולטת ש"ז in זבה. Does this comparison establish only a din relevant to Tumah, i.e. that one day of the seven is omitted from the count, or does this equation establish even a din of undermining the seven days (for a single day) vis-a-vis a היתר לבעלה.
