For Masechet Niddah 15a & 16a we will try to resolve a paradox. On the one hand, although we accept the view that וסתאות דרבנן, nevertheless the Rabanan required בדיקה. This proves that the Rabanan - although denying the validity of the Chazaka of the וסת, nevertheless they do validate the חשש ראיית דם. Why then do they permit a woman whose וסת passed even without a בדיקה? The latter is true according to the psak of the Shulchan Aruch based on Rambam & Rif. The goal of this shiur is to present the brilliant insight of the Chaves Da'as & the critique of the Chazon Ish.
