In this in-depth Parsha shiur for Tetzaveh we will analyze the insights of the Seforno on the difference between the stones on the Efod & the stones on the Choshen. This will lead to an understanding of the midah of Divine Compassion & the difference between Rachamim & Mishpat. The latter can only be achieved with great זכויות. Once Israel is vindicated based on Mishpat, this could save the People from Divine wrath & punishment for generations to come. We will study the Seforno here in Tetzaveh & in Parshas Noach & compare the two presentations of this great commentator. Why are the stones of the Choshen called מילואים, a word that is absent in the case of the stones of the Efod? Why does the Torah add the word תמיד in the case of the Efod?
