We will conclude our study of Masechet Chulin 100a-b, analyzing the view of Rav. Why does חננ require a Taam Chashuv? Why couldn't a משהו generate חננ? The Ritva addresses an even more fundamental q': Why does Rav need חננ? We will analyze the Ritva's insight re: the law of מין במינו according to Rebby Yehuda? The last part of the sugya of Rav will lead us to analyze Rava's principle of סלק. We will end the shiur by reading the Mishna of Gid HaNashe of a non-kosher animal.
