For the Aveilut sugya in Maasechet Ketuvot 4a we will focus our attention of the Issur Yichud during the 7 days of Simcha and the 7 days of Aveilut. Does this Issur Yichud apply elsewhere in the context of a married couple? If not, why was it applied here? Does the Halacha require a double שמירה, or is a single one sufficient? Would it matter if the kallah lost lost a relative or the chasan did?
