In our study of Masechet Chulin 108a, we will analyze the original insight of the Taz regarding the principle of חתיכה נעשית נבילה. The Taz interprets the Mechaber in siman #90 regarding כחל as maintaining that the principle of חנ"ן does not apply to בב"ח דרבנן. The mechaber stands n the shoulders of the Rambam who paskens that if milk was cooked with chicken and there was Nesinas Taam, add chicken to the pot to create ביטול בשישים. We can integrate the chicken in the 1st cooking into the 60 for Bitul. Thus "Chanan" is suspended. The Taz points out that the Rama disagrees and analyzes the repercussions of this Machlokes.
