Rav establishes two Halachik principles that apply to Basar Bechalav and we will analyze the relationship between the two. 1) חנ"ן which means that ביטול will apply to the entire volume of the meat, not just 60x the volume of milk that fell onto the meat; 2) even when the Basar Bechalav is mixed in a pot that contains 60x the volume of the entire piece of meat, nevertheless the meat itself remains prohibited. If we postulate that these two principles are two sides of the same coin, i.e. the unique status of בב"ח as an איסור מחמת עצמו, then in other Issurim where the principle of חנ"ן does not operate, we must conclude that אפשר לסוחטו מותר. This is indeed the view of the Tur. The Rashba assumes אפשר לסוחטו אסור in all Issurim. Why?
