Description

We begin our study of Masechet Chulin 100a with an introduction to the sugya of Bitul BiRov ביטול ברוב. Our focus is the case of two pieces of dry foods of Heter that got mixed together with one piece of dry food that is prohibited. We will study the 4-way controversy over how to apply ביטול ברוב. Must he throw out one piece? Must there be at least two people eating the pieces? Can one person eat all three pieces simultaneously? Can one person eat all three, but one at a time?
