Description

Chapter 24. Page 49. As discussed previously, the two Moshiachs are Moshiach ben Dovid and Moshiach ben Yosef. We see throughout all of times in the Torah that there are many separations made between these two to avoid and prevent the unification of the two. The Torah that we learn today is the Torah of Galus where there is sin in the atmosphere and as Chazal say, there is on comparison of the torah of galus to the torah of moshiach without sin. Rebbe goes on to connect this to Purim and that Achashveirosh was only willing to give up half of the kingdom to her request but not the whole. The whole kingdom represents both Moshiachs together and Achashveirosh couldn't allow the Jews to live in this state.
