Description

Chapters 22-23, pages 47-48. The two Moshiachs, ben-Yosef and ben-David (Yehuda) represent two necessary parts of the final redemption. Yosef represents the crossover from the aspect of "fathers" to the aspect of "children." He is unique in that way, and so is Moshiach ben Yosef. The future is all about Moshiach ben David. Yosef represents the Tzadik, who draws down divine influence today. He bridges heaven and earth. Yehuda represents the kingship, and the kingdom of Moshiach. He is the transcendent aspect, from the higher "world of concealment." His rule will be final. Mordechai came from both Yosef and Yehuda, and was able to bring forth the redemption of Purim. Both aspects - Yosef and Yehuda are necessary, but Yehuda is the future.
