Continuing our study of Pachad Yitzchok on Chanuka & completing the 10th Ma'amar. The issues to be addressed: the difference between the two Tochachos that of Vayikra the 2nd in Devarim, why is the first Tochacha formulated in the plural indicating individuals rather than Kneset Yisrael? The concept of 'pizur' which reflects the Jew in exile dispersed throughout the earth and the impact of Pizur upon the Torah itself. The paradox of the period of Bayit Sheni and Pizur as both positive & negative. The lighting of the Menorah of the Chashmona'im as an act of chinuch. Why does Bayit Sheni require both the chinuch of Ezra & that of the Chashmona'im? The relationship bet the avoda of Klal Yisrael & the transmission of Torah. Various Mikdashim.
