The Shulchan Aruch says: 'Someone with a good heart is always drinking' - but can this be true? What does it mean when we call somebody a "tov lev" - a person with a good heart? Although we believe that everything is for the good, that Hashem is "echad," we don't always see it - that's why we have the brachah of "Baruch Dayan emes." Accepting Hashem's decrees with joy. Burning the evil in our heart away with Torah. Everything Hashem does is for the good - even when it's hard to see, as in the story of Purim. The mitzvos (commandments) of assiyah (doing) are only on Purim, not on Purim Katan. Purim gives our our hearts menuchah (rest) from the yetzer harah (evil inclination).
