Shavuos: Ma'amar # 7- Continuation of Ma’amar #7- Avraham avinu is the beginning of 2000 years of torah which begins with his trying to be like Hashem- halachta b’drachav. We are called banim to Hashem, which means we have to be like him. The culmination of the receiving the Torah is Hashem teaching us how to be like Him by giving us the torah. We need to learn to give and not take the way Hashem gives and does not take. There is a major difference between a person who sees the Torah as a burden verses one who sees the the Torah lifestyle as a privilege.
