Description

We will continue our study of Hadlakat Ner Chanuka in the Beis HaKneses. Can the madlik repeat all three berachot at home after he has previously recited these three berachot in the synagogue on the first night? Does the Hadlaka in shul require the presence of ten men? How do we guarantee that the Hadlaka on Friday night is different than the hadlaka of every Fri night? What is the meaning of the minhag to relight the menora in shul during the day? Does a beracha require a basis in 'shas'? Can a 'katan' light the Ner in shul? Is there any justification for those who light in a public gathering and reciting a beracha on a ner outside the beit hakneset? These & other questions will be analyzed based on the responsa of the contemporary poskim.
