In this shiur for Masechet Berachot, we will study an apparent contradiction between two verses in Tehilim as to when Dovid HaMelech awoke. Did he rest until midnight, or begin his Torah study at the beginning of the night? We will study four different approaches as to the reconciliation of the contradiction in the verses. The insights of the first chief Rabbi of Palistine, HaRav Y. Hakohen Kook, za"l, will be studied. In the sugya we will analyze Dovid HaMelech's daily schedule, and his idea about solving the problem of the poor and destitute of Israel.
