Description

Given to Students of RIETS (Semicha). The essence of a mashpia (teacher, rabbi, parent) must be unconditional love. When a person feels like they are someone's "project" they immediately feel resentment towards that person and the message. A mashpia must be act fully for the sake of Heaven. Aharon HaKohen loved all creations AND brought them close to Torah. Rav Tzvi Yehuda HaKohen Kook points out that nothing Aharon did for others was "on condition." We finished with a Torah from BiMaagalos HaShana, from the school of Rav Ashlag. Teves represents a time of tremendous confusion (bilbul). The King of Bavel besieging Jerusalem means that a Jew can be besieged by confusion. He becomes confused about right and wrong and receiving and giving. Everything around him gets burned up.
