Description

What is the nature of shofar shel Mikdash? Is it an expanded mitzva of shofar, i.e. the shofar must be accompanied by the chatzotzrot? Or do we blow the trumpets not as a mitzva of shofar but rather as a Kiyum Mikdash? We will investigate the following questions: must we hear the chatzotzrot? Do the kohanim blow the trumpets? How can the mitzva of shofar shel Mikdash be reconciled with the principle of Trei Kolei?
