Description

In our series on Tefilla, we will focus on the prayer that closes all of our Tfillot, namely, "Aleinu LeShabech". What is its meaning and special significance? We will raise a number of questions about the our People in an attempt at defining the essence of the nation of Israel. Are we a political community or an existential-spiritual personality? How did our People survive the thousands of years of exile? Why is there no mention of entering the Land of Israel in the section of Arami Oved Avi that we read on the Seder night? Why does Jewish history prove the paradox that assimilation intensifies antisemitism? These questions and others will be addressed in this sichat mussar.
