Description

A shiur on לאדם מערכי לב, ומה' מענה לשון. The shiur opens with a discussion of the significance of the verbal capacity in general, as an essential and defining characteristic of human existence. The next topic discusses the difficulty of finding the proper medium of expression for prayer, and the need for a special prayer, both on a daily basis, and especially during the Yamim Noraim, to find the right words. The need for eloquence in prayer is highlighted by a discussion of the Rambam in Hilchos Tefillah, Chapter One. The shiur concludes with other layers of meaning in the pasuk of לאדם מערכי לב, ומה' מענה לשון
