This shiur traces the concept from the end of the 15th Chapter of Mishlei, through Chazal (with a particular focus on Pirkei Avot) and the Rambam's unique perspective on the trait of humility defying the Golden Mean, and an analysis of Moshe's standing as the humble man par excellence. The shiur concludes with an attempt at a categorical definition of humility by identifying four essential dimensions to this trait.
