Description

We examine what went wrong at Mei Merivah and why Moshe was punished by not being allowed to enter into Eretz Yisrael. Why specifically this punishment, which seems unduly harsh on the surface? Why could the decree not be overturned? We utilize the novel approach of the Malbim to unearth the depth of what happened in this turning point in Jewish history. (Part of HaMidrasha at QC, OU-JLIC's Torah learning program for women at Queens College)
