Description

Parsha & Halacha for Emor: Sefirat HaOmer & the view of the Behag, Part I. The Halacha considers the opinion of the BeHaG that if he omitted a full day he can no longer count the Omer. Unless he has a double Safek, he will omit the beracha due to the BeHaG. We will study the insight of the Kovner Rav, the Dvar Avrahahm, defining the act of counting. We will wonder how the Brisker Rav defended the BeHag justifying the daily beracha on Sefira since there is one single mitzva made up of 49 countings. We will touch on the issue of Sefirat HaOmer for women.
