Analyzing the view of the Behag re: Sefirat HaOmer. Would one count with a beracha if he knows he is going to miss a day? We will analyze the controversy re: a beracha that was meaningful in its time, but later on it becomes clear that his beracha was meaningless. Does his beracha become - retroactively - a beracha LeVatala? We will see the Rtva re: Netilas Yadayim when he decides later not to eat bread, the Nidda who count and later on sees Dam, the person who recites עננו and later breaks his fast, and the man who counts the Omer & later on misses a day.
