Description

The sugya in Masechet Berachot 31a relates three dramatic stories that took place at the weddings of the Torah giants. In these stories the Ba'al HaSimcha took radical steps to curb the excessive simcha of the scholars who participated in the joyous celebrations. In the second part of this shiur we will study the examples given by the Gemorah for Halacha Pesuka. One should prepare himself for prayer by studying these final statements of codified Halacha. These Halachos require extensive introductions intot eh laws of Niddah and the laws of Ma'aser.
