Description

Taken from the Hakira Journal, Vol. 16, Winter 2013, this article attempts to establish that Maimonides, and perhaps others of the Rationalist School of Judaism, strongly disagreed with the Kabbalistic School and those who followed it, by asserting that there is no distinction between the soul of a Jew and the soul of a non-Jew. An analysis of Bava Batra 10b is essential to an understanding of the argument.
