It could be that the kashrus of some of these sweets is questionable, or even worse. As soon as the sweets are thrown, children will rush to pick them up and by that time it will be well nigh impossible to retrieve and check them. Therefore the ba’alei simcha should try and find a tactful way to control which sweets are thrown.</span></span></span></p>
