The Gemara asks - What is the merit of a women? The question is strange! Women are obligated in many mitzvos, so of course they have merits?! The Gra explains that a person cannot merit a portion in the world to come without the mitzva of Talmud Torah and women aren't obligated in this mitzva so how do they get a portion in the world to come? This shiur explains the gemara somewhat differently.
