Rabbi Yonatan Shai Freedman is a shoel u'meishiv and the overseas alumni coordinator at Yeshivat Har Etzion (Gush). He studied many years at Yeshivat Har Etzion, earning smicha from Rav Zalman Nechemya Goldberg ztl as well as from the Rabbanut. He holds a Diaspora Teacher’s Certificate from Herzog College, has a B.S. in Management/Information Systems from Lander College for Men, served a stint as a tank driver for the IDF, and he is certified as a teacher of chatanim by the Religious Council of Gush Etzion.
