Rabbi Dovid Fuld, a realtor, has served as a pro-bono mohel for the last 45 years. He spends half of each month living in Jerusalem, Israel and the other half in Kew Gardens Hills, Queens, where, in 1972, he helped initiate the first eruv in New York. Rabbi Fuld was the visionary behind the Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) Laboratory of Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem and continues to fund it. In 2003, Rabbi Fuld, along with his wife Anita, researched, planned, and saw to it that every aspect of the laboratory came to fruition. He endowed the Fuld Family Department of Medical Genetics in Shaare Zedek Medical Center, which is widely viewed as the top genetics unit in all of Israel. Rabbi Dovid and Anita Fuld are proud parents of six children and twenty-eight grandchildren.
