Shiur #8 of a series on "Halakha in the Era of COVID." In this installment, we consider the origin, details, and application of Birkat HaGomel, the blessing recited when one is saved from a dangerous situation. In particular, we raised the questions of reciting this Beracha when one recovers from COVID-19, whether one requires a quorum in order to recite the Berakha, and whether Zoom can be used to create that Minyan.
