Description

Although Avraham, and to a lesser degree Yitzhak and Yaakov, stayed in numerous cities in Canaan, there are only two cities in which they lived. Exploring their choices and, more critically, the timing of their choices, reveals an instructive pattern and a deliberate method of balancing the requirement to become fathers of a holy nation with being a blessing for all families of the earth.
