Description

Mishnah Berurah (451:28) presents the opposing views: is chametz considered issur or heter when absorbed into a vessel, before Passover? He writes that the accepted halachic ruling is chametz is considered an absorbed prohibition. But if there is another issue, that gives reason to be lenient, then we will view chametz as an absorbed permissible substance. A good example of that leinency is kosherizing a Ben Yomo vessel before Passover and do not have sheshim. The Bavili and Yerushalmi describe libun chamur (libun kal is not in Gemara) in different terms. Is this a disagreement? The Mordachi and Rema describe libun kal in different terms. Is this also a disagreement?
