Two minite video D"T for Vaeschanan and Nachamu, finding a parallel between Shabbos & Kriyas Shema. Why we recite וינוחו בה on Friday night in honor of the מלכה, but וינוחו בו in honor of the King by day. We greet the Malka at night and reveal her as the Creator of All. At this stage the Schechina is passive and concealed. Thru our קידוש we declare Hashen as Creator and sanctify the Shabbat. Once the שבת is sanctified, then the שבת sanctifies us and the entire created universe. As the King, the שבת places the active role; during the day our act of Kiddush is no longer necessary. We seek to discover a parallel dynamic with regard to the two-part mitzva of Kriyat Shema.
