  1. Title: Crazy Corona Question
    Author: Alex Mizrahi ,

Hi Rabbi, hope you and your family is well. First off I would like to thank you for all of your shiurim, you are a real pleasure to listen to and make depths in Halacha so easy to attain. Case was like this, wanted to hear you take. Guy got married, the next day he was technically in yemei sheva brachos but wasn’t actually making any seudos and was staying in quarantine alone with his new wife. The next day, his brother died from Corona and family was beginning to sit and he wasn’t sure what to do. After consulting with a few local Rabbis there wasn’t a clear psak because although normally the Gemara in Kesubos says you finish sheva brachos and then start aveilos, here where he is literally sitting in his home with his wife (not even having 3 people to make the special zimmun for sheva brachos) that maybe there’s no real simcha going on. After much discussion they brought the question to Rav Dovid Feinstein Shlita and he said that the choson could choose to do what he wants. Ultimately he chose to finish sheva brachos and then start shiva, which due to Pesach only will last for one day while his family kept 7 full days. I thought that psak was very interesting and was wondering what the Rabbi thought about this
