Sholom, The entire situation has changed from the time of all of the sources you brought. The reason is that in the past the sound wave was retained and transmitted to the receiver, where the sound wave was run through the membrane of the speaker. Today, the sound wave is digitized. The stream of numbers is transmitted, and the receiver is then decoded and the sound is recreated. As such, I think that everyone would agree that you could not be Yotzei anything with this sound. As to the Inyan of Mikro Megilla, if someone could create a sound electronically that would sound like words, but it was not made using the mouth, how could that be called Mikroh? (This is similar to the Sheilo of being Yotzei with sign language. It's just not speech!) Nice shiur, Yehuda (aka Michael) Zimmerman
