Description

This week we quoted from the Yismach Yisrael of Aleksander who explains that the Rashi discussing the "argument" over Noach's character is really Noach's own characterization of himself in different situations, not others' opinion about him. We then learned from Rav yitzchak of Vorka that Noach went into the Teivah "due to the rain" because he believed in everyone else's teshuvah which would stop the flood. We finished by quoting the Mei hashiloach who explains the message to Noach was to make the most of his own lot, not to be jealous for others'.
