In the month of Elul we try to take stock of what we’ve done well and what needs improvement. With the end of summer, however, we often put our spiritual pursuits on hold for the busyness of life. Rav Simcha Bunim and the Ishbitzer provide chizuk to overcome that paralysis and teach us how not to sacrifice anything else in the process.
