BRS is hosting a summer kollel covering the 10th, 11th and 12th Perakim of Chulin. This shiur covers the mitzvah of שילוח הקן dealing with the nature of the mitzvah, can a person encounter a nest with a mother bird and simply opt out of the mitzvah. This shiur argues that one is obligated to send away the mother bird.
