Today's shiur is the second half of yesterday's shiur entitled: Parsha & Hashkafa for Balak: Various Ramban's on the prophecies of Bilam and the days of Mashiach. We will discuss the concept of יציאת מצרים as the creation of a Nation of 'עובדי ה. This will shed a new light on the significance of סמיכות גאולה לתפילה. One of the crucial issues here is אין מזל בישראל, the direct relationship between God and His People, the unique Divine Providence vis-a-vis the Nation of Israel. This will explain Bilam's declaration that there is no power on Earth (with the exception of The Power of all Powers in the Heaven) that can curse the People of Israel. Can a saucer-er have any power over the community of Israel or over an individual Jew?
