Description

Using the Or HaChaim's commentary, we looked at two topics: 1. The opening of Acharei Mot - why does the opening verse present the deaths of Nadav and Avihu in the manner it does? Was their a message for Aharon? A message for Moshe? Why is their death mentioned in the context of the instructions for Yom Kippur? 2. Chapter 18 begins discussing the ways of the land of Egypt and Canaan. What "ways" are we to avoid? Why are the arayot introduced in this way? How can one control what's in one's heart and in one's mind?
