This brief pre-shiur was an overall intro to learning Esther with sophistication, and was followed by an opportunity to carefully learn perek 1 be-chavrusa and search for kushyos. That seder was followed by an hourlong shiur on the opening perek of Esther based upon the creative insights of the Malbim (https://www.yutorah.org/lectures/lecture.cfm/920987/).
