Masechet Pesachim 24b-25a: כלאי הכרם שלא כדרך הנאתם והק"ו מערלה ופירכותיה. We will study the concepts of חמץ and כלאים, and how they compare with בשר בחלב. The latter had a שעת היתר as does חמץ. However, the איסור הנאה בחמץ is an expression of the חומרא of Chametz as a חיוב כרת. In the case of כלאים we have a שעת היתר similar to חמץ ובשר בחלב without the special חומרא of חיוב כרת. Hence, כלאי הכרם can serve as a paradigm for איסור הנאה and teach the איסור הנאה בבשר בחלב. The objection that may be raised is that כלאים has its unique חומרא of שלא כדרך הנאתם - according to Abaye - whereas בשר בחלב apparently does not share this חומרא. Hence we're stuck with a פירכא on the ק"ו מערלה
