Description

Parsha & Hashkafa for Ki Tisa: Aharon HaKohen's greatest challenge & why he was chosen by Hashem. This shiur, based upon the שבילי פנחס, is an embellishment of the amazing חידוש of the Ari za"l that Aharon was a rectification of the sin of Haran the brother of Avraham Avinu. Both הרן and א-הרן were faced with the challenge of מסירות נפש. Haran in fact was killed in Ur Kasdin and his physical body was a Kiddush Hashem. Aharon, on the other hand, was a kiddush Hashem on the level of כוונה ולשמה but not in the physical sense. The ultimate realization of מסירות נפש is the integration of HaRan's action with Aharon's intention.
